Staycations Are a Good Idea Until A Vacation is Possible

Russell Conwell, the founder of Temple University in Philadelphia, penned a powerful little epistle entitled 'Acres of Diamonds'. The gist of the tome was that you can travel far and wide but in most cases your biggest treasure is right there at home. We are all subject to taking our local attractions for granted. Many go for a lifetime and never visit them. Others may have gone as a child on a school trip, to never return as an adult when it could be so much more appreciated. So here's a suggestion... until that budget recovers, don't stay home! Gather the kids, or friends, and take a new look at the attractions in your area that you've been overlooking for years. Almost without exception, two things will happen. The first is that you will be a much happier person if you are getting out and experiencing these attractions. The second is that you will throughly enjoy these excursions, which you can do now while the bigger vacation plans have to wait. You'll be so, so glad you did! Get out and have some fun!

TV4U, the 48 channel IPTV video portal, home to 33 TVS Television Network ‘Micro’ Channels, will feature the originally produced "Port O’ Call" TV series as the signature show for the TVSPortOCall.Com IPTV travel channel. The series has commenced production on the first 26 episodes.
